Appointment of Ian Turpin as Vice President, Sustainability

MONTREAL, QC, CANADA – February 25, 2026 — Torngat Metals is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Turpin as Vice President, Sustainability.

Ian brings over 20 years of experience in the mining and industrial sectors, with deep expertise in ESG governance, Indigenous and community relations, environmental performance, and economic reconciliation. His background includes leading decarbonization and biodiversity initiatives and aligning corporate sustainability strategies with both regulatory requirements and international standards.

In this new role, Ian will lead the integration of environmental performance, sustainability strategy, and community engagement across the organization—reinforcing Torngat Metals’ commitment to responsible development and long-term partnerships built on trust, respect, and transparency.

This appointment marks a leadership transition following the retirement of Sylvie St-Jean, Vice President, Environment. Since joining Torngat Metals in 2023, Sylvie has played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s environmental and ESG foundation. To ensure continuity, she will remain involved in the Strange Lake project as Special Advisor on ESG matters.

With Ian’s appointment, Torngat Metals’ approach will continue to be grounded in clear priorities around environmental stewardship, sustainability, and community relationships, guided by unified governance focused on listening and collaboration.
